About

I’ve lived the military life from the inside out.

As a lifelong member of the military community—first as a dependent born abroad to a US Navy Sailor, then as a Sailor myself, and now as a Navy spouse of over 20 years—I understand the unique rhythm, pressure, and unpredictability that come with this lifestyle. I’ve navigated countless PCS moves, deployments, reintegration, and the quiet moments in between.

That lived experience isn’t just background—it’s the foundation of how I coach. I don’t just “get” military life; I’ve lived it, and I use that firsthand understanding to help fellow spouses find clarity, confidence, and a sense of self no matter where the military sends them.

Fun facts about me.

  • I followed in the footsteps of my dad (being in the Navy) and my mom (marrying into the Navy). Military service runs deep in our family.
  • I’ve been married for over 20 years, and we’ve lived bicoastally in the USA and twice in Japan.
  • I frequently have fun colored hair.
  • I’m a CTA Certified Coach, trained through six months of classes, mentoring, and real life coaching practice to help support your growth.
  • I have a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and am an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®)…I’ve always been in “helper” roles.
  • I am a certified Mental Health Ally through Psych Hub.
  • I have 4 kids, the Bigs and the Littles, spread apart by a wide age gap.
  • My hobbies include fostering neonatal kittens, baking, travel, and all things food and wine related.

The spark for this journey started years ago—though I didn’t know it at the time.

I met a fellow spouse who had just entered military life. Her partner was already a seasoned service member. But she felt overwhelmed, like she’d been dropped into a world with its own language and no map. I wanted to help, but I didn’t yet know how.

At first, I thought maybe I’d write a book. That turned into blogging, which led to mentoring, and eventually evolved into life coaching. Now, I get to help military spouses find their footing, their voice, and their own version of success—wherever military life takes them.
